This is hopefully a worthwhile upgrade for KitchenAid Proline Coffee Grinder owners. This mod also discovered the "flaw" i many KA grinders preventing them from grinding fine enough.
My new vetrano had an issue that bothered me. In my opinion, the vetrano by Quickmill, is very well crafted, but some things just dont work out very well from a design standpoint. One of these things is the fact that the steam and hot water wands rub on the body of the machine. I feel that over time this rubbing would cause damage to the stainless steel surface. I decided i needed to pad this area to prevent any scratches.
The original tape mod wasnt working very well for me so I modified the design. I tried a few different kinds of tape including the original electrial tape. These are a bit longer than the folded elctrical tape. This extra length allows the fins to wrap around th e doser blade and scrape the bottom of the doser clean. They also have a whisker to reach under hub the dosing star.
